Dear Emmaus Church Family,
The board has met to review our options during this time and we have decided to suspend the Sunday Morning Worship Service.   We will plan on not meeting until Sunday April 5 and will make a decision during the week before that date if we plan to extend the suspension.  We hope to be back together for Easter on 4/12 but how this progresses will dictate our response.  You are still allowed to meet in your small groups during this time at your discretion and please observe the no touching protocols, hand washing, as well as the personal space boundary.
Ron will be recording a video message this week and we will "try" to put it on YouTube.  If it works out we will email a link so that you can watch a message.  In future weeks we will try to include a couple of hymns.
During this suspension please keep Pastor Ron and the board informed regarding any spiritual or personal issues that come up that we could help you with.  We would also encourage each of you to reach out to those around you by phone and encourage each other in this way during this time of isolation.  Here are a couple of verses to think about for encouragement during this time.
Romans 15:13
13 Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
Deuteronomy 31:6
6 Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the Lord your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you.”
Please pray that this virus situation would pass and we would be restored to fellowship soon.
